Great for under rugs
This extension cord is much flatter that the other "flat" cords available . It is undetectable under the rug I have. Only drawback is the unpolarized straight prong plug on the end. All the adapters I found for 2 to 3 prong were polarized, so one blade was thicker and it wouldn't go into the extension cord. Finally I realized I could use a travel adapter. The Japan 2 to 3 prong adapter fit and now the reclining couch works great and I don't have a raised area on the rug. The cord is expensive, but if the lump in the rug bothers you as much as it did me, it's worth it!

Great for electric couch
I bought this to run under a rug to power a couch with electric recliners/headrest/USB. It works perfectly for that purpose. No lumps under the rug, and to my surprise, the plug for our couch was non-grounded and non-polarized, so this worked for me without an adapter. Yes, this is expensive for an extension cord, but to power a 4 motor couch I realized we would need to buy a $300 battery + have the hassle of recharging it every few weeks. This ended up being a better and more economical solution. Grounded plug = a plug with a third prong on the bottom Polarized plug = two prongs where one side is slightly larger than the other. This extension cord is a “Type A” plug which means it accepts ONLY two-prong plugs and both prongs must be the same size (non polarized and non grounded). Check what you’re going to plug in to this as that will determine if you’ll need an adapter.

Perfect but pricy. You get what u pay 4
Just as advertised. Flat. Fits American plugs, no converter needed for powered furniture. It comes rolled up but didn't need to use a hair dryer it will get even more flat with time. It's under a skinny rug , no pad yet and it's just what I wanted.

Works great, BUT...
This extension cord is like no other. It's paper thin, fits perfectly under a run, and it is completely inconspicuous... no lump whatsoever. But... the female end will not accept a polarized plug (a male plug with one prong slightly larger than the other) which is what nearly all modern appliances come with. The problem is easily solved with this adaptor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003MYMA2W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Works great
I purchased this cord to power a recliner loveseat which was in the middle of my room; cord is perfect under a very low pile area rug, you can’t feel it at all. No issues with standard USA outlets.

Plug is not accepting of polorized standard receptacles.
Female and male ends of pugs are not polorized like standard plugs. Would be helpful if this was in product description.

That is amazing! Waaay to expensive, amazing
Runs under an expensive Turkish rug, you can't tell it's there... this thing is really thin, amazingly thin, like paper thin, the plug is a challenge tho, had to trim the extra "wings" off the polarized plug I was using it for... the female portion of the plug won't allow a polarized plug... so you just trim a little off and it fits... that was my only complaint... its a little bit of a challenge, but worth it.... if you have $150 to spare... I love it!

Nothing like it
I bought two of these to provide electricity underneath my rug for my lounge-set. It’s completely invisible and works like a dream. I cut off the plugs and replaced them with New Zealand plugs after pulling the cords through the carpet. Cons: expensive and the cable on the end is a bit short. Pros: robust solution which is completely invisible
