Works great for what I needed.
I actually purchased this because my dog is scared of thunder. When it storms, she will close herself in my bathroom and can’t get out. I placed one of these on my bathroom door so if she closes it, it does not latch - and it would prevent fingers from getting smashed as it prevents the door from closing. It works perfect for what I needed it for. It was very easy to install and remove and it fit the door well. It’s a soft foam, white in color and inexpensive. I would recommend.

It does a great job keeping the door from being shut by little ones.

Must have!! Simple, lightweight, doesn't damage door and many options!
This works incredibly well and allows a lot of flexibility for optimal placement! Highly recommend! If you put it at the top of the door, you can slide towards the hinges for a wider door opening or closer towards the center for a smaller door opening. It works on the side of the door too but that only gives a single option for how wide the door opening is. Also very easy to remove and hang on your door handle when not in use / wanting to close the door completely.

Great product to reduce noise of your door shutting when you don't need it to shut all the way.
Great for kitchen/garage door that you frequently use. No more loud noises. Have had to purchase multiple variations that tore, this one lasted longer than others.

Does the job!
My one-year-old twins love the cause-and-effect of shutting doors, which quickly turned into tears when they’d get stuck on the wrong side. These door pinch guards have been a lifesaver! They stop the door from closing completely, so no more slammed fingers and no more babies locked in a room crying. I also love that when we’re not using them, they store easily right on the door knob. Simple, effective, and exactly what we needed for peace of mind. Stays on in place. Our doors are white so you don’t even notice them.

Perfect!
These are great for making sure that doors do not close. We have cats and it’s important to know they won’t be locked in/out.

Finger Pinch Guard by Wittle. Wish we had these for our kids in the 80s.
We babysit our twin toddler grandchildren once a week. They are both starting to walk and are exploring everything. Shopping for life's second "child proofing" cycle I spotted these foam rubber bumpers at a local big-box lumber/hardware store. I liked them so much I went back for more a couple of weeks later but they had disappeared from the shelves and with no apparent plan for restocking them. Shame! So I visited Walmart (they carried them but were out of stock) and several drug store chains. Nothing, so off to the web! I found these at Wittle through Amazon Smile, ordered them, and had them within 3 days. These are made of high-density rubber foam and slide over the end of the door with good grip on smooth paint or varnish. I believe they are closed cell as well which means they are probably washable and won't act like sponges in the unlikely event they get dirty. They provide a good one inch gap between the door and the jamb to protect those tiny fingers. You can locate then anywhere on the door edge and I would recommend mounting them above the toddler's reach. Check to make sure that older door doesn't flex enough to undo the protection if the Guard is installed higher! The Guards pull right off if you need to actually close a door and they are small enough not to take up much space on a shelf or countertop. I suppose we could take ours down weekly to allow them to recover shape, but most of them have been left up since we installed them with no problems. Those that are removed do return to their original shape, and I believe if they ever lost their grip it could be restored with some light sanding of the grip area. They are so simple, effective, and easy to use that I highly recommend them.
