Really delicious espresso

Unfortunately my machine died. I do know illy espresso is excellent.

I purchase this product often and and sometimes it arrives in perfect condition, sometimes the cans arrive without a lid and sometimes they arrive dented, but always sealed. I don't understand why there are discrepancies between shippings. The coffee is always in good condition and delicious, but I buy the product for the cans as well since I'm an artist and I use the cans. Very high-quality coffee, but very expensIve. I admit that I am contributing to the death of the planet by buying these capsules. However, the flavor of the espresso as made in my Illy iperespresso machine is as close to the flavor of the bar in Italy where I grew up as I can get. So, nostalgia is a powerful force and I greatly enjoy my espresso. I have it with a spoon of sugar. I find one capsule can be stretched to make a double espresso and even a triple or two doubles if I am also adding warm milk or soy milk. I would recommend using filtered water to get the best flavor from these capsules.

Illy is my favorite coffe bar none. It tastes great all the times. It smells great always! I have purchased this coffee for years. Maybe 10 actually! It’s a bit pricey but hey it’s worth it!

Illy hätte 7 oder 9 Sterne verdient, weil er so lecker ist. 8 Sterne bekommt das System Francis Francis nicht, weil es unterm Strich zuviel Plastik-Müll produziert. Die Kapseln sind kompakt, dickwandig und somit außerordentlich stabil. Dementsprechend ist es sehr schwierig sie zu öffnen, um an das Pulver heranzukommen. Übrig bleibt, wie angedeutet, sehr viel Plastik, das ja aus Erdöl oder Erdnussöl hergestellt wird. Bei 6-10 Tassen pro Tag, schätze ich, kommen etwas 36-40 kg Plastik-Müll pro Jahr zusammen – pro Person!!!. Bei 100.000 Illy-Liebhabern (die Zahl ist fiktiv, aber vertretbar) kommen so 3.600 - 4.000 Tonnen pro Jahr des Plastik-Mülls zusammen. Anstatt die Kaspeln wegzuschmeissen, sollte man sie z.B. zum Bau von Garageneinfahrten oder farbenfrohen Schallschutz-Mauern nutzen. 9 Sterne habe ich vergeben, weil ich die Kaffee-Produktion mit einer Francis Francis als sehr effizient ansehe. Nach einigen Tagen der Nutzung befindet sich eine relativ große Menge von flüssigem Intensiv-Kaffee/Espresso in der Auffangschale (technisch durchdachte Konstruktion). Durch ein Sieb gegossen (so wird der Kaffee-Trester zurückgehalten) lässt sich ein köstlicher Latte-Macciato für Gäste herstellen. Bei der Zubereitung ist zu beachten (mein Tipp!!!), dass die fettarme H-Milch mindestens 85 Grad warm und ohne Rahm sein sollte. Nach vorsichtiger Zugabe des Intensivs-Espressos (er hat ja nur Stuben/-Umgebungstemperatur) ist der fertige Milch-Kaffee etwa 78 Grad warm und somit perfekt. Auch die Farbe stimmt.

Ik had verwacht dat ik voor €30 wel drie blikken kofiie toegezonden zou krijgen, maar toen ik de doos opende zat er slechts 1 blik in! Ik kon het echt haast niet geloven. Wat een afzetterij! Het blik was ook nog eens heel raar verpakt. Ik koop hier niet nog een keer.
