So far, it’s fun casting in the backyard with my 1/4oz bobber. Can’t wait to get the grandkids over here with their Spider-Man and Frozen fishing poles for a casting contest.Seriously, the Zebco 33 fishing combos are fun to use because they are a bit easier to work than spinning or baitcasting gear. For casual “neighborhood fishing”, they’ll be just fine, unless you are a total clutz. Pretty sure that a steelhead or salmon would destroy them. But then again, you might land it and have a memorable experience with a funny story about your broken fishing pole and you still got the fish. Then you can go buy an expensive, premium quality outfit.Fun fishing poles, for sure. Might even last a while, with care.

My son needed a new fishing pole to replace his old kiddie one. We had an upcoming family camping trip, so I did some searching on Amazon. Decided on this one so that my daughter would have a pole in case she wanted to fish too. My son caught five fish his first time using this pole and enjoyed it. It doesn't seem like the components are of the same quality as Zebco of my youth, but they will work fine for my kids.

This product is a great value for the money but beware if giving as a gift. The packaging was very dirty with a white film and scratched up. Had to thoroughly clean before I felt comfortable giving this as a gift. Even after cleaning the package it still looked bad from all the scratches.

The media could not be loaded.  very easy to use, bought this pair for my 2 kids. bought another pair for my 3rd kid and 1 reserved whoever want to use it. It cast so far. Even my six year old daughter looks like a pro. Buy this...

Purchased for my husband who has stage 4 lung cancer and the thought that he will live long enough to use it brought tears to all of our eyes. He broke down and cried when he opened it! Priceless memories! Thank you!

Great starter gear for youngsters. Easy to use and sturdy.

Not sure how much money was saved buying this combo, but it's an excellent set. Purchased for daddy/daughter time. She loves the color and as always Zebco 33's are the tried and true reliables. Poles are pretty good quality for beginners also.

Great value. Two rods for my son and daughter so they can fish with their dad. They rods are good quality and I love the two colors so they don't get mixed up.

I bought 4 of these at the special rate, if I could have gotten 10 or more units at that price I would have. All of these units are going into the Hants West Wildlife Assoc. Learn 2 Fish program for elementary school youth. Zebco makes in our opinion and after 10 yrs and over 3000 kids some of the best introductory spin cast combo units. We use 202's and 404 models and some of these after 10 yrs of use need upgrading. Being a non profit Outdoor Group sales and discounts are important way to maintain quality and give the youth in our programs a meaningful Outdoor fishing experience. Thanks Zebco and for our Spinning outfits Rapala they both do for us what we need, the 33 is a step up and a step we plan to continue with. In 2018 we received the Community Fishing Development award given by the NS Government, so it takes equipment that is trust worthy and rugged enough to meet the requirements an 8 to 14 yr old can put it through. Besides at 69 and a user of Zebco and Rapala gear for as long as I can remember I trust them so this outfit the Zebco 33 his and hers will find a home here in West Hants teaching the next generation how to fish. So for us we like what we see in this purchase I only hope that it goes on sale or special pricing again.
