Does anyone know what company actually makes these microsd cards for microcenter? it definitely isnt microcenter itself. thanks in advance!

Companies like Micro Center contract out and their partners are subject to change. That said any Inland/Micro Center storage products I own are labeled as 'Made in Taiwan'. So at least nothing is from mainland China. I tried searching the product #'s on my flash storage (with a 400x microscope) but didn't receive any results. But in testing these were the highest performing UHS-1 v30 cards I've come across so far; ~95/50 sequential and ~15/4 random.

Anyone else been charged after they returned this item? I mailed it in the same box it came in but they never gave me credit for the return!

Yes. Been charged a few times. All were “Kohl’s” returns. Either someone there is pocketing the items, or kohl’s tracking system isn’t always correct. Either way, I had to keep my receipt and then finally wait till I got the “you didn’t send it back” email. Told Amazon I had the proof I dripped it off. They finally gave me the credit. Took literally 4-5 different employees to finally get this straightened out. It’s convenient but maybe ups is better.

How much usable space remains after formatting (Fat32) a 256gb card?
