Absolutely Works!! Here's Proof!
I purchased a couple of these for a tubing trip my friends and I took back at the end of May. My iPhone 6s Plus fit with a slim case on it but just barely. On a stupid move by me I unhooked the pouch from the lanyard and tossed it to my friend in another tube to take a picture. Needless to say it dropped in to the water and immediately sunk. The phone was connected to a waterproof Bluetooth speaker which almost immediately lost connection after hitting the water. I assumed the worst. I jumped in and tried to find it but to no avail. Now to clarify, I was skeptical of the product from the get go. I didn't do the tissue test (put a tissue in the pouch and submerge in water) and with how big the 6s Plus is I assumed I wasn't getting as good a seal as I could be getting with a smaller phone. I had to put the phone in the pouch upside down so I could use the camera. But other than that it seemed to be well made. Anyways, over a month after the trip, and having canceled my debit card (which was in the pouch with my phone) and getting a new phone, I was contacted by a really nice guy who was at the same river over the weekend. Not only had he found the pouch, which was still submerged in about 3 feet of water according to him, but IT STILL WORKED!!! I just picked it up a little while ago and sure enough it still works like it did the day I lost it. The case suffered some minor water damage, some mold and scratches as you would expect, but the inside of the pouch was dry as a bone. I know you may be skeptical of this review but then again so was I. It absolutely works. I am actually buying two more today.

Exceptional product
This case is fantastic. I do a lot of work around water and I've tried different ways of protecting my phone, including zip loc bags (ok for rain but not to be trusted if the bag falls in the water) and a small Pelican case (fantastic protection and definitely waterproof but very bulky and inconvenient because you have to take the phone out to use it). This is the perfect solution; it is compact and you can use the phone easily (side buttons are a little difficult to reach but can be pushed with a little adjusting, front buttons and screen work perfectly). And it is waterproof; I tested it in my pool with some tissue in the case and despite vigorous shaking underwater, no water got into the case. (You do have to dry the case off, especially around the opening, before opening it or of course some water on the outside can touch your phone.) Opening the case took me a few seconds to figure out because the mechanism is a bit different from other similar waterproof cases I have used, but it is simple and seems foolproof. The case fits my Galaxy S4 easily. Overall, this is an exceptional product, well designed and constructed, and a bargain for the price. I will use it whenever I am around water, and my phone will be more usable and better protected than it has been in the past.

Not perfect, but does a decent job!
Disclaimer: I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I ordered this product because my family and I spend a fair bit of time at the lake, beach, and even water-parks, and since we always have our smartphones with us, I thought it wise to get something to help protect our electronics. Upon opening the product and reading the insert, I was reassured by the fact that the seller actually recommends testing the product using a paper towel, which is exactly what I had planned from the start. So, per the package suggestion I tested my waterproof cell phone pouch by placing a paper towel inside, closing it, then submerging the whole thing in water for 30 minutes. I ended up getting distracted, so it was actually submerged for closer to an hour. Here is what I found when I checked my napkin: Pros: * There was no condensation within the plastic pouch and the napkin appeared dry from the outside of the case (see image below). * The case itself had no negative side effects from being submerged for such a long period of time. There was no damage to the exterior of the case. Cons: * When opening the case, I did discovered some water inside the plastic clasps at the top which mean some water did get into the case, it just didn't make it into the "air sealed" portion where the phone sits (see image below). * When removing the phone, you need to ensure that the entire outside, and the inside of the plastic clasp area is completely dry, otherwise you still risk getting your electronics wet (see image of paper towel below with wet spot). Bare in mind, I am not taking off a star for just this, as technically the paper towel was mostly dry and one speck of water is not typically enough to damage a phone. As for the case itself and the types of phones it will fit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that both my husband's iPhone 6 and my Sony Xperia Z3 both fit inside the waterproof phone bag with our bulky protective cases still in place. The only downside is that while this waterproof case advertises that the touch screen can still be used while the phone is inside, I did discover that this is dependent on the type of screen protector you are currently using. I currently have just a thin sheet protector on mine and I can still use the touch screen if I make slow gestures and apply a little bit of extra pressure. My husband on the other hand uses a tempered glass screen protector and when inside this waterproof case, I had to keep making gestures repeatedly to get the screen to register. I would imagine that someone using a protective case with a built-in plastic screen protector will also have difficulty with using the phone while it is inside this waterproof case. Obviously this is all because there are too many protective layers between you and the phone, but it is something to take into consideration. Finally, I will say that you will want to be careful placing and removing your phone from this waterproof case. There are small plastic clasps that you must slide the phone between in order to get it into the sealed portion, and I could see this leading to scratches in your screen if you are not careful. Also, the case has a built-in compass, but a) it is small, and b) it seems to stick a little so you will need to be patient with it. I would not rely on the built-in compass as your sole directional navigator, but it is a nice backup option. Overall, I'm relatively happy with this purchase. I have no intention of submerging my phone while it is inside the case unless absolutely necessary, but it is comforting to know that even if an accident occurs, there is now a decent protective layer to keep my electronics safer!

Works Perfectly
This case is AMAZING. took it on a tubing trip the day i got it and i read other reviews that were great, so i didn't even bother testing it before taking it out on the water. It withstood water up to a foot or two deep, splashing constantly, and even a trip down the river as the tube got away from us. It completely protected both phones that were in the case and i would definitely recommend something like this as opposed to a plastic baggie (what we used before.....living on the EDGE!! :D) The only drawback i can think of is that you have to take your phone out of the case to put it inside this one. It fits nice and snug though and we were still able to use the phone to make calls, play music over a Bluetooth speaker with no interference, and use the touch screen. I also had a somewhat hard time taking pictures underwater, but it wasn't due to the case. More of a touch screen problem since it was detecting the water as well as my touch. Would recommend 100% :)

I was quite impressed how well it protected my phone. Getting the air out as directed can be challenging depending on the type of phone you have. I have a Samsung S7. I also found it challenging to record video transitioning to above and under water I suspect because of the extra air inside the pouch. Not sure. All in all I think it's great for taking pictures above water. Just need to figure out the video piece.

Used it on one trip and the sides split. Before it split it was ok. The pictures were blurry and it was difficult to open the camera with the touch feature. This was a replacement for another waterproof case which lasted for multiple trips, so it was disappointing that it split so quickly.
