Miracle brush!!
My cat is a domestic shorthair, and her fur is very dense. Shes unable to clean the fur near her back so it creates mini matted clumps. She gets overstimulated when I try to brush them out and won’t stay long enough to remove them. This was my last attempt before shaving the area, and holy crap! I was surprised by how well it works. It removed the hair in an easier and way less intense way

Cat's review doesn't count here
My cat is giving this 0 stars, but it works really well. All tangles are out of his fur, it does not take very long to get them out with this tool either (my feline usually allows me 60 seconds with this before kicking commences). Just be careful around the cat's skin, it is slightly sharp, and can cut if not careful

My elderly cat hat lots a knots
I tried an electric shaver for cats that had great reviews. Didn't fully work. It removed most of the problem areas but on her worst area it only removed the surface hair and it stopped shaving once it was into the thick of it. 🫤 so I purchased this, and did alittle every day. She has sensitive hips, so I was only able to work through alittle at a time each day. It did work the best. It will remove those tuff knots. I worked at a animal hospital for years. And I used this on my elderly cat and we were able to remove all her winter knotted fur. She looks like a homeless kitty atm. Due to the electric razor but she's much happier now without all that hot knotted tight fur on her. I would suggest on long hair animals, keeping up with it, with a strong metal comb the using this product for any knots that form. My cat loves to be combed. This product is great quality. Great size. And WORKS.

Seems like this is made for someone left handed
Well made and might work great, if I were left handed. Maybe I am not understanding how to hold it? I bought a different one, with the blades facing the other direction and that one works great. I should have returned this one but I waited too long.

New pup, new hair needs!
Got a new dog - not used to longer hair - this has been helpful to keep her hair from matting behind her ears! Easy to use and good value.

Okay now THAT’S a fur removal tool! Furminator might as well retire. It’s never beating this thing. Lily, the fluff ball on the left there, hates the Furminator. She’s not delighted with this either but she gets only mildly irritated, not distressed the way she gets with Furminator. The tool works best if you use short raking strokes and work section by section rather than long strokes from front end to back end, & wow is it effective when you do. If you hook gently under a mat & kind of scratch at the hair, the mat comes away easily, too, without pulling the cat’s skin. The cat has to be pointing the right way because the tool isn’t ambidextrous, but that’s just a point worth noting, not a criticism. Pointless on short hair cats but get it if you have a fluff ball. UPDATE: it’s not pointless at all on short hair cats, as it turns out. Just not as dramatic :-)

Quita muy bien el exceso de pelo y ayuda a desenredar los nudos de mi gatito Ragdoll pelo largo...si se tiene un nudo grande es mejor deshacerlo poco a poco para poder usar el cepillo y evitar que salga corriendo.

Was hopeful after reading other reviews that this might just be the answer for helping me deal with my cat's matts. I have a handsome, but skittish rescue tuxedo cat with medium length fur, who tends to get matts near his tail and on his fluffy back legs. Been a nightmare trying to get rid of them as he runs almost as soon as i start touching them. Worked him up to getting used to this brush by grooming him on his back and sides using short brushes (which he seems to enjoy). Then today i approached one of his matts whilst we were snuggling and in under 10 secs the matt was out! He didn't flinch. Success!

Brush small and not imposing. We have several brushes that are larger that my cat hates. More effective to inch the brush through matted fur than try to push it through in one stroke.
