The Gene Keys: Embracing Your Higher Purpose

This book didn’t just find me… it activated me. The Gene Keys found its way into my awareness just months before I lost my sister in a tragic act of domestic violence. I was cracked wide open... drowning in grief, guilt, shock, and anger. And somehow, through a series of synchronicities too specific to dismiss, this book became my lifeline. It guided me gently through the waves of grief and anger that followed finding her after three days of her being missing. It helped me forgive the man who took her from us and taught me how to forgive myself for feeling something horrible coming but not knowing what to do to prevent it. It taught me how to find peace in the darkest season of my life, and how to turn my grief into something beautiful. If I hadn’t found this transmission when I did, I don’t know if I’d have found the light in the darkness that threatened to swallow me whole. The signs began swiftly the day I found out she was missing. I didn't know it yet but she was already gone from this plane, and she came to me in the form of a dragonfly & started guiding me... unmistakably and undeniably through this work. The more I paid attention, the more the synchronicities appeared and multiplied around me in the world of form. The Gene Keys became a living bridge, a direct line of communication with her soul. There's a lot I could write about Gene Keys. This is the first book of 3 if I had to choose to have on a desert island. It's a book of magic and not everyone realizes that or is ready for it. If you're not ready for an initiation or to start receiving the transmissions, maybe hold off until later. I'd heard of Gene Keys years ago but wasn't ready for it. Follow the signs in your life for when you are ready for it (and follow your Human Design authority). I'm becoming a GK certified Guide and have been doing very insightful readings for people for a few years. HALF of the time the readings I have done on people's hologenetic profile (which is free to get at the genekeys.com website) are life changing on their own. And that's when I knew enough but was just doing them for free (now I'm into charging as a Guide). I also had my first reading done from a pro but this book alone (which I recommend to all my readings) is a book of alchemical magic that is about transformational consciousness from specific shadow frequencies in your life into your soul attuned avatar self. It gives you a map, and with the primary process of Contemplation; an outlook with very real possibilities to grow into. If you are ready for it, it can lead to very deep and ongoing blossoming. I'm in very experienced and conscious circles and GK's always brings even MORE possibility, context and nuance to even very evolved people's lives to live even more in their true self. GK is the more feminine essenced version of Human Design and although similar in ways, they are also very different. The spectrum of consciousness based on the 64 keys and the heavier focus on the I Ching alone is a POWERFUL tool in analyzing the madness of the world today and what's possible as we move out of shadow frequencies (division, chaos, entropy, control) into higher frequencies and reality. This is really profound work and very practical as well...a beautiful way-showing roadmap of sorts to let your highest self cultivate and soar! I recommend as R.Rudd says to 'jump around' the book...you don't have to read it from start to finish - it's too dense anyways.

This book itself is a psycho-spiritual treasure and life-long companion... And ‘deep-diving’ into the GoldenPath-- a series of webinars offered in Genekeys.com that delve into the depth and breadth of the Gene keys and their lines-- is like no other. It is a most elucidating and joyous self-awakening journey! We are compassionately invited to appreciate our shadows as service-propellers of our gifting pathways to the world— without private shame, self-battering or inner judgments as we consciously or subconsciously repeat our behavioral patterns, or when we regress emotionally—all the while being inspired by embracing glimpses of our siddhis... I have been on this inward journey of my Gene Keys for a few years now—taking pauses in between to allow room for new perspectives to emanate from within. This is not a path for the fainted heart, or a half-hearted playing field. Yet it is the most profoundly sustaining self-contemplation Grand Crossing that I have ever undertaken. I come to this great work with a bit of Rip Van Winkle type of disorientation -- a healthy shock! Where have I been for the last 20 years? As one who has found useful, indeed, very necessary, the don Juan recommendation of retrospection of one's life, Mr. Rudd's work here has been wonderfully stimulating. For the power of retrospection is increased by the reawakening of one's history, especially those parts of one's history which one would just as soon forget! Indeed, "forgetting" is one of the 64 Shadows described herein by Mr. Rudd, giving birth, as we become aware, to the Gift of Mindfulness, which in turn births the transcendent state or "Siddhi", of Revelation. Just words at this point, if you've not yet delved into this work. Indulge me, if you will. At the bottom of life, one bottom of several, but the first long bottom for this earth child, occurring before my 21st birthday, beginning the seven- year -long process of withdrawal from academia and the possibility of its shelter, financial rewards, etc. -- I was introduced, rather comically, to the I Ching, the ancient Chinese "Book of Changes." Now I had loved books ever since grade school when I read them surreptitiously under my desk to evade the boredom of what the teacher was saying. And my hidden purpose for going to college was to read as many of the great books as I could, indeed, to immerse myself into them utterly. For there I could HIDE! Sure, I also wanted to have a girlfriend (note the possessive there!), to be hip, living together in our off-campus pad, to be cool. And, although I did have, and mistreat, a few girlfriends, I found I was lacking in just about everything. I loved science and math -- but they gave me a huge painful knot in my belly. I loved literature, ideas, philosophy, religion -- but I was a pipsqueak in trying to talk about anything. In desperation I attended a "sensitivity training" workshop -- and behold! along came a new girlfriend -- and a book, the I Ching. (Sally, won't you come by and get your book back? I haven't known where you are for 50 years!) With its famous introduction by Carl Jung on Synchronicity Now I could just take some easy courses, smoke all the dope I needed, and ---- whatever. And, as I pondered my fate, cast pennies and read the I Ching with all its marvelous advice, "Perseverance furthers" "It furthers one to cross the great water." I was King! (As Tom Petty has sung, "It's good to be King!" For, as with astrology in the West, the I Ching was originally written for the kings of old. For fifty years I have read and reread this book. Now, along comes a usurper! Kill him! No, of course not. For now, in these times, every man in his own king, every woman her own queen, and Mr. Rudd has not merely retranslated or updated this ancient classic, he has absolutely transmuted it into a whole new form. In all due modesty he insists it is a "transmission," but I would not call it a "channeled" work, as are so many doing now and always. Well, my old I Ching world is turned upside down. All the old nice hexagrams I used to draw now come with warnings. Number 11, "Peace", is now contains a Shadow, "Obscurity." The terrible "Splitting Apart," number23, now holds the wonderful gift of Simplicity. ("Tis a gift to be Simple/Tis a gift to be Free....) If this were not enough, Mr. Rudd has also tied into Astrology also. Astrology became my second metaphysical language after the I Ching, beginning about a year later. He uses astrology as the basis for the "hologenetic profile," by which one can zero in on one's major life lessons. But it's not absolutely necessary. Hell, you can open the book at random and find meaning -- if you are open to it. Open the book, open yourself! This will be everyone's favorite coffee table book in another year or two, just like M. Scott Peck's The Road Less Traveled. Most deservedly so!

This book is one of the greatest gift you can give yourself. It will make sense of your life, and it allows you to contemplate it with your heart. Give yourself an additional treat and actually buy the first activation sequence, it's worth every cent, it will make this journey much easier. I have been searching, experiencing and expanding on many different paths in the last 40 years. East and West, yoga, meditation, holistic healing, shamanism, plant medicine, and so on. I gained a better understanding, more compassion, more inner peace, more joy of life. A few months ago I found the Gene Keys, got curious, and start journeying with it. It is totally amazing, beautiful, and absolutely rewarding how this book and the 33 steps have become a true treasure grove for me. I got the Kindle edition, which is easier for my eyes. This is the ultimate adventurous book. It's not a book for reading and putting it back in the shelf. It's a book to go back and forth, put it to the side, contemplate, read it again, forget it, read something else, come back to it, reread it, contemplate, discover things you have not grasped the first few times, on and on. It has become a very delightful journey. One of my favorites is that the author points out again and again if if you read this book with the mind, it's more and more confusing. This book can ultimately only be understood by the heart. The other favorite is to be reminded over and over, every Shadow, every adversity, every pain has a seed in itself called the Gift. This seed will always open up if we just pay attention and be with it. The real adventure and promise of the Gene Keys is to live life fully and through the heart.

While you can't divide consciousness and a spectrum of consciousness is not new to me, the presentation of the Gene Keys certainly is. The books have met my needs for enjoyable and inspirational reads that I have found very grounding. I appreciate that the books leave you standing on your own two feet. I particularly enjoyed the expansive use of language and definitions. For me personally, the golden path profile has been stunningly accurate in describing the seemingly inexplicable deep " inner" evolutionary urges that have truly seemed to rise from my DNA throughout my life thus far. I would recommend the books to anyone interested in exploring and embracing a spectrum of undivided consciousness in a fresh way. LOVE and also the phrase "Only awareness is comfortable with these eternal repetitions ." danced through heart and mind as I read these books. As I read through the books I continually was reminded of the practice of ho'oponopono.

There is no right way to read it, it is a compagnon through your journey of self discovery. Discover that you aren't By letting go of your notions, you open the doors of infinite possibilities. Soften your heart Open your mind

This is by far the most insightful book in my life. I return to it over and over again. I have been studying the Gene Keys since 2016. It has transformed my life and made me realize that activating our potentials and dreams requires two main factors - courage and love. It is not a book to read back to back in a week. You dip in and out, and gradually see how your inner judgment softens and love expands. Be patient, curious and open and you will be rewarded!

Love the book. However the print is soooo small. Which makes reading a strain for the eyes.
