I’ve been using the Hawkins 2 Litre Contura Black Pressure Cooker for the past five years, and it has truly been a dependable utensil in my kitchen. The hard‑anodized body heats evenly, cooks quickly, and still looks great after years of regular use. I’ve used it on an induction stove the entire time, and it performs flawlessly. In all these years, I’ve had zero issues with the cooker itself. The only maintenance I’ve needed was replacing the washer once about two years ago, which is completely normal for any pressure cooker. The inner‑lid design gives a secure seal, and the cooker feels sturdy and well‑balanced every time I use it. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t stain, and continues to deliver consistent results whether I’m cooking dal, rice, or quick curries. For anyone looking for a long‑lasting, reliable pressure cooker, this one is absolutely worth it. The size is good to cook for 2-3 people.

This little pal is so excellent. I have made so many dishes over the years with them. It’s an essential in any kitchen. I’m viewing this now because I think I need a bigger one, but I love the size of this one, as it allows me to make meals for myself. My kids don’t always like what I make, so I can make a one-off just for me.

This is such a cute pot, I love it. I was skeptical about pressure cookers as my previous experiences were not positive. Firstly the size won me over. As I only cook for myself its perfect, does not take a lot of space. Love the shape and overall look. Love the lid and closing mechanism, its easier to handle, love that the rubber seal is on the top of the lid. When it comes to cooking, I am impressed. I tried it by cooking the most difficult item which takes more than 5 hours to cook with a regular pot. The pressure cook did it in less than an hour. Material is sturdy and strong. I foresee a very long relationship with this pot. For me it is worth the money I paid for

Don’t buy it used one please! I thought buying used one would save me money but it was not worth it .

Great little pressure,though kinda small,one cook lasts me 2 meal.works great.

Works good but did a pre wash in the sink and my black signet pan came out of the dishwater dull gray. Is this normal?
