Will it make my hair rough?

No. But if you do repeated colouring of your hair it will make it rough for sure. Infact herbal pastes containing amla powder will make the hair more rough. Always use hair conditioners after shampoo or any hair treatment.

My hair is black in color will the color be visible on black color hair?

Yes...I also have black colour hair...but if you never applied any colour on your hair then the result may vary.....

Does 1 suffice for long hair ?

No, if your hair is longer than shoulder length and you want to colour all of it, you're definitely going to need more than one
