Nair Men's Hair Removal Cream, Body Hair Remover for Men, 13 Oz Bottle

Nair Men Hair Remover works as advertised. Was able to remove hair about 3 minutes after application. No redness or rash afterwards and was mostly smooth. A few pesky hairs remained but were removed with a second application. As the instruction state, it is best to wipe it off with a washcloth as the extra friction helps pull and remove the hairs. Found it easy to spread it to other areas that were unintended by moving around and brushing against the cream, so it is best to apply in shower and not move too much until ready to wash it off, unless you are applying it everywhere of course. Warning label says to not use in sensitive areas as well as on face. Do not use on face as it is caustic and spreads easy to unwanted areas. Works everywhere else though without a problem. Better than waxing as it is cheaper and pain free.

This product really, really works, but there are a few things you need to plan for. First, if you are going to do a large area go fast so that you don't have a lot of time between the start and finish, because you likely need at least 7 minutes but shouldn't leave it on more than 10 minutes. Second, if you are using your hand or just a finger to apply it be very careful or you might lose some skin from the hand or finger due to over-saturation of the product (latex gloves would be a very helpful item if you aren't going to take that advice). But if you go quickly and rinse the hand or finger with soap and water just as soon as you are done and you will be fine. Third, it works so well that you won't have any hair left above the skin and for some depth below the skin. It is much more effective than shaving with even the very best razor. But if you're a guy with normal body hair it is entirely possible that 5% of all regrowth will be ingrown and cause itching and pimples in about three days (in seven days you might be very unhappy). The bottom line is that you should be patient and start small, and by that I mean wait one week before your second attempt to be sure this is going to work for you.

Worked well enough for me. One problem is is that you gotta use a lot of it, and it may require a second go-around if you missed a spot. Get your significant other or an open-minded friend if you can't reach or see certain spots normally. The only burns I got were places where I had open cuts, which the product warns about. Stung a bit, but no real damage. As always, test these things like the instructions say. Speaking of instructions, they are somewhat confusing. How the heck am I supposed to shower if I can't get myself wet? When am I supposed to remove it? In the shower? After? It's unclear. I just apply, watch a video, and hop in the shower to remove it, then follow my routine. Only other gripe is the nozzles sucks, and mine broke after a third use. Folks here complain about the smell, but it ain't that bad. It's even kinda pleasant once you get used to it. I see a lot of folks asking if it's OK for your boys. Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Test it first. I came out OK, but it's a sensitive area, and on one of my applications, it stung my undercarriage. I'd recommend just using it on the pubic region. One bottle lasted me two months, roughly, though I still got some more out of it by scooping out the inside. Get the multi-pack if you can (once you've determined if it works for you, of course.) It leaves my skin feeling really smooth, and even when my hair started to stubble again, it still felt nice. I recommend adding lotion afterwards to relieve the initial itchiness if it's your first time, though I've made it part of my routine now. One last thing I'd recommend is use some gloves when applying the stuff. Both because it'll help keep an even application and because this stuff will damage your nails if you don't remove it promptly. Other than that, pretty good.

I am a woman but unfortunately Men's products work better 99% of the time (less money needed for marketing, I guess.) I was looking for a product that I could use on my legs that wouldn't give me razor burn but wasn't about to try waxing. This stuff works great!! It really does last longer than shaving and it's way less work. However, DO NOT get it on your sensitive areas. I thought, "is it really as bad as the reviews make it out to be?" And yes... yes it is. I bought some women's stuff for those areas but lo and behold it doesn't work at all. But this stuff is good. It does exactly what it says it will do. I also like that you don't have to let it sit for 10 mins before washing it off... nobody got time for that. I just put it on while I'm peeing and the water is warming then I'm good to go!

** UPDATE 4/20/15 ** Review has been changed to 3 stars. The Cons listed below still hold true. However, the resulting hair loss on my legs did indeed last a day or two longer than shaving. Nothing mind-blowing but certainly a more extended result versus shaving. It still takes too much of the product at too high of a price for too patchy of a result for me to rate higher. I will use the remaining 1/2 bottle at some point but have already went back to shaving my legs with a reusable, disposable razor that's faster and much, much cheaper. ** ORIGINAL REVIEW ** I am not impressed with this product. I just used it for the first time on my legs going from my ankles up to my mid-thigh on each leg. I followed the directions of applying a nice, thick layer of the product without rubbing it in and waited the maximum 10 minutes before showering, as the directions also say to do. I then followed the remainder of the instructions regarding water stream and such. The end result is a big letdown. There's hardly anything to say that's good but I'll break it down: Good: - Razor-free hair removal. Bad: - Only removed approximately 65% of my leg hairs. - Took longer than shaving from start to finish. - Took 1/2 the bottle to achieve this subpar result which means you're paying a high price for a bad result. - Price (see above) Pretty much a bad product all the way around. I have very thin, hardly non-existent visibility of my leg hair. On a scale of 1-10 for leg hair thickness and coverage I'd put myself at a 2, maybe a 3. On top of that, my last razor shave was 5 days ago so the hairs this product had to remove were very, very short. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. It's just that bad all things considered. I'll be throwing it away since the other half of the bottle will, at best, only give me another ~65% effectiveness which means it's worthless. Big waste of money on this item.

Go for it! I was hesitant about it. My skin is pretty sensitive and my experience has been great with this! I use it on my upper legs. Like others have stated, read instructions. And read them completely. Before you begin, look at the entire process and determine whether you have the time to go through it. My first time I applied a small dab in a small area on my upper legs. The test area was about the size of my thumb just to test for sensitivity. I say, when you do this, wait a few days to see if your skin reacts after a day or two. If no reaction, then go all in! Once you do, the results are fantastic! There is a slight smell to the cream, but you will be showing after, and will easily go away. When you shower, use 'pool' water temperature. (not hot tub temperature lol). When you shower, avoid rubbing your treated area. If you use a loofah, maybe skip this step and just use your hands for at least a couple of days. You want to go easy on this area. Hair grows back of course, but this is so much easier than using a razor or trimmer. And you get fewer bumps or ingrown hairs.

We ordered this for my brother, who wanted to see if he could get rid of his body hair easily. I have used Nair in the past myself (I'm a female) when I was younger (in my teens) a few times and never had any major problems with it (except the smell was always awful and too much to bear). My brother experienced SEVERE irritation of his arms using this product. This was his first time using a depilatory cream. I am talking SEVERE! I'm talking BRIGHT RED irritation to where I was super concerned the first day about what had happened and was wondering if we should go to the doctor. He left it on less than 10 minutes (maybe 7-8 mins) and rinsed it off. Nowhere else on his body was he irritated. The arms were the first place he placed the cream. It's been over a week and the redness has gone way down, but hasn't fully healed yet. He used hydrocortisone cream for a few days. It's shocking how bad this product is and what happened to him. NEVER AGAIN. My advice to everyone: Trust and use a razor (or get laser hair remover) before using this or any other depilatory cream!!!!

This product is AMAZING! I was so tired of trimming my manly areas and then a few weeks later it growing back full force. I absolutely hate shaving and all of the time you have to commit to you nether regions to get the results you want. I really needed to try something new and this worked better than I had expected! I read a lot of reviews from good to bad and decided to get it anyway. A lot of the bad reviews say that this product gives them burns and bumps but as someone who considers themselves to have pretty sensitive skin I can tell you if you follow the directions on the back correctly you will not get burned. I was actually pretty nervous/scared to try this product because of all of the horror story reviews I saw but I manned up and applied the product as directed and waited 2 mins out of the shower then waited 3 mins in the steamy shower. Then tested an area where i applied the product and just like magic it all came right off! i was very surprised at the results that i had experienced and would recommend this product to anyone who is absolutely tired of their too hairy down under areas. (I also read a lot of reviews saying the product did not remove all of their hair to an area they applied the product to because they said their hair is too thick. To that i have to say you either have ULTRA THICK ASS HAIR or you did not apply enough or wait the maximum 10 minutes for the product to work.) -You will get the results you want if you apply the product as directed. -Try the product for yourself despite the reviews. -100% recommend this product to anyone who needs a change from shaving/trimming

ne coupe pas les poils totalement a la racine, laisse pas mal de poils, il faut vrmnt en mettre beaucoup et laisser agir longtemps pour que ca s'enleve, mais sinon c'est correct ca evite de passer aux rasoir les zones sensibles et difficiles a raser

I'm male, 30 and it worked For medium coarse coarse hair. I have done some plucking and used the Tweepi cream to slow down hair growth and I have not had any itchiness etc. It only sort of stings or burns if used for longer than 10 minutes and if used too often without 2 or 3 days skin healing time. Don't use any perfumes or Lynx Deodorant straight after, it will sting long a cut in the armpit after shaving. Just redness if I exceed 10 minutes or use the Sugar Body Scrub straight afterward but this Nair Hair Remover Cream is better than Shaving, almost like plucking but quicker and similar hair growth speed to plucking for me. Saves time compared to plucking each hair in 10 minutes but you get more done with the cream in 10 minutes on DRY Skin but sometimes you have to pluck the remaining hair afterwards, which would be softer after the hair removal and shower. I recommend it but the irritation won't happen to everyone. Everyone is different and I'm used to it. Depends on your skin and if you've used it before. It works well on soft and fine hair, but not the very coarse, thick strong hair, like dark, thick, straight hair. I tried a test patch on my arm or leg before using it on my chest and my belly. I'm not very good at giving reviews but it's the best I can do. Don't exceed 5 or 10 mins depending on area of hair removal and wait up to 3 days or 72 hours before using again and wait 24 or up to 48 hours to use Sugar Body Scrub safely. (The one with Mineral Oil in it)
