365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Halves & Pieces Walnuts, 10 Ounce

I ordered these as finding organic food where I live is not the easiest. When they arrived they were packaged well enough that they were not crushed or crummy. The taste was surprisingly well along with the texture and smell being as expected. The bag is decent sized for the price in comparison to in stores close to where I live. The quality is great as they are organic.

These are very, very good. They were fresh and I could tell that because they smelled amazing when I opened the bag. They are just the right size for baking or you can chop them even finer if you need to. I will buy these again.

I have no idea why these are so much better than any other walnuts I've purchased. Most walnuts have a darker skin that often bothers my mouth and throat, but these are lighter in color and far more tender than other walnuts I've tried. I love them and put them in my morning Greek yogurt parfait, they were great in my banana bread too and they're organic, what's not to love? The price is great for the quantity and getting them on auto-ship saves me a trip to the store.

Like most nut these can go rancid pretty quickly but I'm glad there's an organic walnut option & they taste fine. (I'm not sure how they really can guarantee these are "organic" [pesticide drift, etc] but at least we try if it might be better for the earth and us).

Growing up, I always hated Walnuts. This order I received from Whole Foods has been enjoying walnuts now.

I love these walnuts, as they are clean tasting and I put them in my salads for a crunchy element.

Great value for money but also with clean ingredients. Worry Free all around.
