Seiko Original Stainless Steel Watch Band 18mm and Genuine Seiko Spring Bars

This band isn't the exact replacement for my Seiko, but I knew that in advance. My watch came with a rubber wrist strap, which was nice, but requires periodic expensive replacement. Instead, I ordered this stainless steel band that had matching dimensions. The band mounts a little awkward for my watch, but again, I knew I could have some trouble.What I really like about the band is the secure latching mechanism, two latches would both have to spring open, one after the other, for this band to come loose in my wrist, and as well as the latches work I just don't see that happening. I give this band a 5 for the overall appearance and for the double latch mechanism.

Purchased for a Seiko SNK 809 **DOES NOT FIT** just a warning, but I knew that when I bought it, with a quick rotary tool (read Dremel) modification to the band it fits perfectly and looks very nice on this watch. Unless you know where to look you cant tell its been modified.Band feels sturdy and was easy to adjust with a watch tool. (A small screw driver would have worked too.) Time will tell how well it holds up.

So many complaints about this listing. The band itself is wonderful. 4/5 for the band. It squeaks a little and nibbles on arm hairs now and then. The finish is brushed, unidirectional with the brush grain end-to-end.Replacement springbars are not supplied with this product. They are referring to the spring bar covers - you will need to buy your own springbars if you need them. 18mm is not the correct lug width. While the band tapers to 18mm in the middle/clasp, it is closer to ~22mm at the watch lugs. (I cannot provide an exact measurement as I took mine into the garage and got to remachining it almost immediately after opening the bag)

This is identical to my original band which is why I bought it. My old band through the years started showing wear so it was time to replace it. What better replacement then an original band? My old band was close to 15 years and still in one piece so expect to get the same if not more from this band.

I'm sorry, we had to return because it was a ' stainless color and we needed a shiny 'polished' stainless steel. However, the return process was simple and easy. Thank you.

I selected this band to replace a worn nylon band for a Sieko 5 watch. The new band is a high-quality stainless steel band with a safety catch and is far better than third-party options available at the same price. The bracelet's design will not catch the hairs on your wrist but it will make a jingling noise; combined with the Sieko 5's watch mechanism, it will be louder than a 5 with the nylon band. I recommend this product.
