It felt a little expensive for this price for just a plastic container, but it is well designed. I was surprised how it has kept all the stuff inside dry even though my balcony is not perfectly even. It's a great size that can double as a chair, I keep it next to my grill to have a side table. It holds multiple bags of charcoals for the grill and all my grilling tools. Just perfect! Assembly was pretty easy you basically just plug the pieces into each other. Worth every penny if you need storage options that protect your stuff while looking nice! (It's not actually waterproof or airtight, it's just that the lid has a lip over the edge of the bin that protects everything from the rain. I was very surprised. Just good design. But it probably wouldn't keep your stuff dry in a flood, worth noting!)

When I got these, I really thought they were too small and had started my return process... I just wasn't sure they would work. I continued to be on the fence though, so was holding on to them. Every time I looked at other options I could not find anything that was between huge and smallish. I wanted to fit a yoga mat or rolled up hammock, but didn't want a giant 100gallon box. Long story short: I decided to try these out, one as a side table next to the hammock (with pillows and blanket) and one on the deck for the pillows I use at the outdoor dining table. I put them both together in under 5 minutes. Snap, snap, snap and done! SO easy! Each box holds 3 18"x18" throw pillows and a blanket, or one 18x18 and two lumbar pillows and a blanket. There is still room to add an extra pillow or other items. **Here's the best part though: the day after I put them together we had three storms. Wind and downpours. BOTH BOXES ARE COMPLETELY DRY INSIDE! not even damp. No moisture whatsoever. All in all - they are great. Perfect height for a side table or easy to tuck into a corner. The only point of refinement would be to have handles on the sides. Not easy to move once assembled. You have to pick up the box underneath. 5 stars still though. Definitely recommend. And they really look nice in the yard!

Perfect for camping! Keeps our footwear dry and is large enough to store hats, sweaters, and other gear. Very practical and well-made — highly recommend.

Bought to have deliveries secured. Unit snapped together easily enough and seems decently solid. We secure with a bag on sand placed inside, the unit would be lightweight in a strong wind otherwise. It was smaller than expected but actually measured larger than 22 gallons. For our need and price, it was a good purchase. Now to figure out how to get the drivers to quit throwing my deliveries up the stairs and actually place them in the box. 😉

I LOVE the size and idea of this for my small balcony in my studio apartment. It's perfect to use for garden storage (I didn't want my bag of soil just open to the elements outside) and also flat to use as a table to eat on. However, we had REALLY bad storms last night (wind, thunderstorms, tornado hit about 5 miles away) and I didn't realize the lid on this didn't close as tightly as it should. I think it would be weatherproof if the wind hadn't blown it open and gotten everything wet inside. So I ended up putting a heavy pot on top of it to keep it closed until I figure out if it does close securely. I realize it wouldn't withstand a tornado (duh) but I get strong winds where I am on the top floor so it would be better if it closed. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyways, aside from that small issue, it's the perfect size to put extra empty pots, bag of soil, gardening gloves, fertilizer, etc. Price is good and super easy to put together!

I don’t believe all the reviews that describe this as difficult to assemble. I believe those reviews must have been written by bots of a competing product. I’ve never had a product that was more simple and easy to assemble and I’m not very mechanically inclined. The box states minimal tools required. Actually, it’s zero tools required. Everything just easily snaps into place and I have never seen included instructions that are more simple yet perfectly detailed. It’s certainly not water tight, but simply covered from rain with the top cap. This product is sturdy enough to fit the description. It is simple yet designed and engineered well. It stores some simple items, protected with strong plastic, sturdy enough to sit on and the color is perfectly neutral. Exactly what I wanted and exactly what I got.

This is the second Suncast 22-gallon small deck box that I've gotten and second 5-star review. I forgot to mention this the first time: The part numbers ("A", "B", "C"...) are clearly embossed / molded onto each part. There is no doubt which part is which when assembling per the directions. It's also easy to tell which side is up and which side is down. No tools are needed. The only issue I have is that the bottom of both boxes fit very loosely. They're made to press down in the bottom of the empty box (during assembly). But the clips easily come out of the slots. It doesn't matter once you assemble it, have it sitting in place and load it up. But if it's empty and you pick it up and carry it, the bottom WILL loosen up and potentially fall out. Overall, though, I bought a second Suncast box because the first one is the right size, is super easy to assemble and, other than the bottom fitting loosely, it's more than good enough. Not worth paying more for a more "perfect" outdoor storage box.

This was super easy to assemble and it seems very durable. Nice light grey, easy to move around, and lid opens/closes easily. It's not huge but I knew what I was getting and I didn't want anything big. This is a good brand name also (Suncast).

Great storage box/side table unit. Looks great on our deck and has a large storage container. Great for storing chair covers, pillows, etc. Lid/top is the right height for coffee mugs, glasses, etc.

Used 2 of these as containers for garden hoses. Drilled a hole in the side to attach the hose to the outside faucet, then simply roll the hose up into the box when done. Works better than some of the items listed specifically for garden hoses.

I would buy one again. Satisfied.

I bought this to add a little storage to my balcony for planters, leftover soil from plants and to store BBQ items! It’s the perfect size! Fits everything I needed to store inside plus acts a a small side table when cooking on the bbq or as an extra seat when needed!
