This is a game-changer. I am such a hot-natured person I cannot be in the same car with a cold person. My leather seats reflect my own body heat and are miserable even in the winter. I really hope this seat lasts for as long as I keep my car. It is great. (I wish I could find one for a livingroom chair). It does require a cigarette lighter.

I have a 20+ year old car. The air conditioner went out on it 4yrs ago. I really didn't want to put $1700 into a new system because of the value of the car. I try to run errands on 'cloudy' days and early in the morning since I live in the south, especially when it's in the 90's!! I've been riding with car fans I purchased from Amazon. I saw this when I was searching. I've riden with it in the hot part of the day three times now. I started out in the mid morning when it's cool, so the air coming from the cushion is cool. When I get in and the car is hot, it's warm air. It's the same with the other fans I have. The air is only as cool as the air it's circulating!!! The air from the cushion does however keep my clothes from sticking to me, so that is worth it!!! So don't expect it to work like an AC!! The cushion makes my car look a little better as I have grey interior! I can hear the fan that runs it, but it's not loud enough to be a distraction!!

The cushion was easy to install and didn't block the airbag in the chair. It does keep the chair cooler since my chair is leather and pretty much anything over it would be cooler. However I do feel the air move on the bottom and back of the chair. Airflow is not THAT great but it's enough to keep my back from sweating. If I want more airflow, I occasionally sit up straight to allow more airflow in the back temporarily and then lean back on it. Even with the fan off it makes the chair more bearable. One downside to this is that the fan is VERY loud. I'm willing to live with it in return for a cooler chair but others may be very bothered by it. It's about as loud as my A/C fan on full blast.

This product does a decent job, but the straps to keep the product in place are poor. The seat has nothing preventing it from shifting and the product is delicate. Making it easy to break. One of the plastic vents has a crack already and it wasn't even a few weeks old when I got it.

Works great for those long trips in hot weather.

I bought this 2pk product in hopes of easing the extreme heat. Upon trying them out, one item was defective off the batt with only the bottom portion working. The 2nd item worked fully, 100%. It definitely had an excellent draw with the fan motor and output for the entire seat cushion. You can even hear it. I of course needed a replacement for the defective item. I contacted an Amazon rep, because I only wanted to return one item. They ended telling me that it's not possible as it came in a 2pk. They could've helped a little more, switched numbers around, maybe charge me for the 1pk item and ship me a replacement and then request a refund if it worked just like the other item had. However, that wasn't the scenario at all. I was forced to return a great working item. The rep created the replacement 2pk item shipment, which I received within two days (today). Once I received the replacements I tried them out right away and neither one of them worked at all. One item was barely having any draw on the high setting. The other had a motor that didn't even work. So now I'm forced to return the items and going to request a refund. Customer service was lacking and was lazy. Not buying this product again, nor should you.

I bought this a a gift for my wife and she uses it as a cooling pad for her office chair. It provides great cooling for the hot days and often the air doesn’t cool her office space fast enough!

Me gusta que si refresca cuando la temperatura al interior del carro es altísima por haberse quedado en el sol, me hubiera gustado que diera el aire también en toda la espalda, se me hace una excelente relación costo beneficio, un poco ruidoso.

El aire que genera al conectarlo al carro sólo se percibe en la parte baja, en la espalda no se sintió nada. Es rígido, no es cómodo
