But Ill say more. Just got this today and am just starting to play the construction sight. WOW! My brother got the PSP about a year ago. I resisted buying one because there didnt seem to be any good games even though the system itself showed a lot of promise. I finaly gave in and got one last Feb. I bought the GTA for PSP, Hot Shots golf and Star Wars Battle Front II. Loved them all. Glad I waited and very glad I got Daxter. Grafix are outstanding and so is the music and voice work. To my eye and ears they took my favorite platformer and packed it onto the PSPs screen. I loved the first three Jak games and this gem has not dissapointed. The bug combat mini game is a nice touch. Kinda like a Pokemon battle. You pick up new bugs and power ups for your bugs in the main Daxter game. Very glad I got this game. Very glad I waited to buy my PSP until now. There are finally enough great games to justify buying this system. PS. I also own an electric fly swatter in real life . It doesnt glow and arc like Daxters but it sure is a lot of fun. Heres hoping for a sequel

Bough this game on Amazon for my PSP back in 2007 and had fun playing it. The game always played well, without any problems.

The Jak and Daxter games for the PS2 have always been some of my favorite games and Naughty Dog rarely let's their fans down. This is another great game in the series although as you would imagine from the title you play as Daxter alone. You are an exterminator and you go around killing different types of bugs and nasties. The boss battles are great and well done, the game is enormous considering it is a portable game! The graphics are PS2 quality. The loading times aren't that bad, compared to some other PSP titles. My favorite level so far is the subway where you have to jump from one train to the other, it's pretty wicked. There are even minigames sprinkled about, when you collect enough precurser orbs (the copper looking egg things) you can return to Daxter's bed and he will have a dream sequence! You play different action heroes depending on the dream for example: Neo from the matrix, the guy from Braveheart, and others. These are button mashing mini games where you have to press the corresponding button in the order shown to hit the bad guys that come at you. The Matrix level is particularly great. The camera is probably done the best they could do on the PSP but it is frustrating at times. Pick this game up for yourself or the jack and daxter fan in your family! You won't be disappointed.

I must admit, this is a real hidden gem on the system. In truth, there's a whole lot to love about this game; its main character is very humorous and charming, the gameplay is very good at keeping things fresh, the graphics are great for the system it's on, the environments are all great, and it even has a catchy soundtrack. The only real downsides here is that the game was a bit shorter than I was expecting, and sometimes the hitboxes on collectible items (especially when on some rail segments) can be a bit wonky. With that said, the pros vastly outweigh cons, and "Daxter" was a game I enjoyed playing... and to tell you the truth, I didn't want it to end the first time I played! I even went back and played it a second time less than a week after buying it, if that tells you anything. If you're a fan of the Jak and Daxter series, you'll love this game... and even if you're unfamiliar with the previous games that came before it, it's still a great 3D Action Platformer that anyone can enjoy. Daxter loves making fans, and this game certainly made me one!

Great adventure game for a PSP. Plus he needed a solo game. Also the matrix mini game is cool.

I started playing this game before I gave it to my son to make sure it was appropriate. When you get to the second level a female character is introduced. The introduction to this character is very inappropriate. Daxter slides down a pipe and at that point the game switches from game play to video. When Daxter comes out at the bottom of the pipe there are a large pair of breasts in his face. The video scene is probably about thirty seconds long and it concentrates on displaying this female character's physical aspects. She wears a tight halter top, which fully displays her breasts and mid-drift, and low riding pants which allow the string from her underwear to be fully visible over her hips. The images of this character are completely inappropriate for a ten year old. This is not a game designed just for fun and innocent game play but contains sexual images and innuendo.

I just picked up a psp and have been dying to play daxter for a very very long time. Got this for a great price brand new! Came in the box and sealed just like the psp games from forever ago. Nostalgia is being brought back and it’s an awesome feeling.

The levels of game play and hilariousness is truly enjoyable

海外で高評価で気になったので買ってみましたが、期待以上にとても面白い。 なぜこれを日本出発売しないのかが不思議すぎる。 DAXTERはPSPと思えないほどのステージの広さ、そして高画質。 オーブを集めて様々な特典をアンロック。他にもミニゲームなど、やりこみ要素も満載。 とにかく、PSPで発売しているアクションゲームの中では間違いなくコレが一番だと思います。 ラチェットやクラッシュバンディクー、ジャック×ダクスターが好きな方は絶対にはまる。 さらに、ロードが無い。死んでもすぐに復活でき、さくさくと進んでストレスを感じない。 フリーズや目だったバグは特に無し。 もしこのゲームを買おうか迷っているのであれば買った方がいい。 PSPでここまでできるのかと驚かされます。
