The Theosophical Publishing House has a better index and it is easier to navigate
Got my 99 cents back. This is not even worth 99 cents. All this material is free on the internet. Almost all of it is in one place. The Theosophical Publishing House has a better index and it is easier to navigate. It is also easier to use the downloads and easier to read.

Great stuff here but....
... when reading it you have to be very careful to pay attention to where the author is discussing occult/esoteric philosophy as it is and where she'ss simply pondering differing beliefs, opinions, possibilities or what-have-you.This isn't always an easy thing to do because the author has always been given to lengthy ramblings concerning things that neither she or others like her actually believe but does relate to their beliefs in some way or another. This problem is compounded by the secretive nature of occultism that will only allow certain bits and pieces to be expounded upon, often leaving you with more questions than answers and an urge, almost a need to "fill in the blanks" with things that are most likely incorrect. In spite of that, and I don't really agree with the logic of it because it encourages the very theological fallacies and dogmas the theosophists so dislike, the theosophical schools have a lot to offer anyone that ponders the spiritual or unseen side of our existence although many who are unfamiliar with theosophy may be shocked to learn what it is they truly believe and the implications of those beliefs. I'll say this is probably mostly due to it's stark contrast to what people assume they must believe based on the near global dominance of traditional monotheism and the entertainment industry. Some of it is uncomfortable, but then so is the idea that you're gonna burn in hell for eternity because you don't believe this or that ridiculous thing. Nothing here is bad or "evil" but much of it is different from what you're probably most used to hearing when it comes to the subject. You'll also see some similarities to traditionally held beliefs and some other things that you've probably never considered before. But on top of all of this, is a case against the flaws, hypocrisy and often counterfeit nature of material science that no theological apologist could ever hope to rival. As for Ms. Blavatsky herself, there's a lot of controversy surrounded the true extent of her knowledge of the subject. Some call her a plagiarist and others a con artist. My personal opinion is that she knew more than her critics want us to believe she did but at the same time it wouldn't be unfair to think that, based on some of her claims and supposed eyewitness accounts, she was no stranger to occasional exaggeration and flights of fancy.I would recommend these works to anyone interested in the subject. It's a very large and expansive collection, however, it would be of the most use to the layperson or someone completely unfamiliar with the subject and wants to understand it in it's broader sense. To the initiates it's doubtful that there's anything here they haven't heard before. If there is, it's not going to be some big secret. There's just none of that here. Also, like some other reviews have stated the illustrations spoken of seem to be practically nonexistent in the digital version. In fact, I don't even recommend this version at all. This is an exhaustive collection of writings and heavily loaded with footnotes which you'll want to refer to often and repeatedly. This version makes doing that very, very inconvenient.

The entire library is here
If you know what this is, you will be pleased. Here is the entire collection of many years of work by many people. Yes, its around 30,000 pages but if you want to search, it will allow that. I love it for the gold nuggets that are hiding in the rough.

Complete works on Kindle good and convenient
It is very nice to have H. P. Blavasky's works on my Kindle. Blavasky's works are interesting to say the least. But rather than a stack of heavy books, her works are nicely tucked inside my little Kindle. Thank you Amazon for Kindle and to those who made these works available for Kindle.
