are you going to send me the real thing? I don't want a knock off.

It IS the real thing - and at such a bargain price! I would not purchase my favorite Cashmere Mist anywhere else now!

What is the difference in donna karan cashmere mist and cashmere "white"? i'm looking for purse size for cashmere mist.

Cashmere mist has a wonderful, light fragrance. People stop me and ask what I am wearing. It is clean, fresh, light and I cannot even smell it on myself. People at work, in Department stores and even in the Grocery stores stop me and ask what am I wearing that is wonderful. Try it and you will see!!! I do not know about cashmere white. I have not stopped wearing cashmere mist since so many people have stopped me to ask me what I am wearing. Try it and you shall see. Good Luck!!!

What is the difference between toilette and perfume spray?

Perfume is composed of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts diluted in water and high-grade alcohol. The composition of these oil extracts determines the concentration or "strength" of the fragrance and the lasting power of the scent. Below are the different fragrance levels: Eau de Cologne – least concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 1 hour) Eau de Toilette – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 2 hours) Eau de Parfum – concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 3-4 hours) Perfume or Parfum Classic – most concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 5-6 hours)

Why Amazon ingredents do not include lily of the valley and bergamot amber and musk as at Macy's. Are these the same products?

Yes, these are the same products. My wife has purchased this product at Macy's and then thru Amazon. It comes in the same box, in the same bottle and has the same scent. She has been using Cashmere Mist for over 10 years and is confident it is the same.

Feminine, Powdery fresh, Classic, Elegant.

A MUST BUY fragrance that's best for the Fall and Winter season. This is a fresh and crisp and has a powdery soft scent. I spray on A LOT of this. Even so, it doesn't leave a strong headache scent, but rather, an elegant fresh powdery and sophisticated smell that lasts all day. (All you need is about 10 to 15 sprays). A LOT OF MEN AND WOMEN approached me to ask me what perfume I had on. Many more women were surprised that a perfume that was debuted in 1994 could still smell this good. Yes! Buy this fragrance!!!
