I bought these with skepticism because there are SO many different types of vitamins out there, and the cost was middle of the road, so I felt I had nothing to lose. I have a 7 year old English bulldog who has had ear issues for years, off and on, mostly in the summer, but times in winter too. The inside of his left ear was ALWAYS red, smelly and itchy. Our vet treated him so often, he kept an open prescription for Posatex in his chart. It would get better with treatment, only to return days later. So, enter Pet Honesty Allergy support. First, he LOVES the taste- ( peanut butter)- he is very fussy on his food! He has been on it for almost 2 months and we have not had ONE ear infection! We live in Central Florida and it is HOT and humid right now, the prime time for his infections!! His left ear is the best I have ever seen it- no wax, no redness, no SMELL!! I AM A BELIEVER! I have not noticed any difference in his shedding, but I truly believe that is a bulldog thing. His eyes have also improved- less runny goop, and his rubbing them all over my furniture! So, I think this is a great product and would recommend to anyone!

As a pharmacist, I see a lot of prescriptions for Apoquel for dog allergies, so when our older corgi started scratching and licking his paws a ton as a puppy, we wanted to try a supplement route first. PetLab Co's allergy chews were our first attempt and just didn't move the needle. Switched to Pet Honesty and actually saw a real drop in scratching, plus it's a better deal ($32.99 for 90 chews vs. $35.95 for 30 from PetLab Co). Now that summer's here our younger corgi started scratching more too, we've added him into the rotation. Their allergies aren't severe (no raw/irritated skin or anything like that), so we just give it as-needed when we notice more scratching than usual, and it's helped both times. Good budget-friendly option for dogs with mild-to-moderate seasonal or occasional allergy itchiness. Not a substitute for vet care if your dog's allergies are severe, but a solid first line of defense to try before going the prescription route.

I have a 14 year old Chihuahua that have severe allergies. She’s had them ever since she was young. I mean snot boogers, sneezing, licking paws, etc. She used to get allergy shots from the vet but I stopped because they just didn’t work for her. This supplement does work but for my dog specifically it just makes her allergies not as intense. Which is a win in my book. You also have to be consistent and give the supplement to your dog everyday, and it took me at least 3 weeks to notice a for sure change. I will still keep buying these for her because they do offer her some relief for the constant allergy attacks. I break one chewable in half and give her the first half in the morning and the second half at night.

These didn't help my dog but he sure likes them as a treat lol gave my dog diarrhea though.

I bought this on July 27th for my shiz tzu & pitbull mix. My pitbull mix had hair missing & so red. My shiz tzu was biting her feet & itching. I did not want to use Apoquel anymore! These allergy chews are amazing. Redness is gone & the fur is coming back. My shiz tzu rarely chews on herself & plays more. I only have to disguise it by putting it in something as they both don't like the taste. I'll be buying more!

This brand costs more than some, smells terrible to me, and I have to mix it with my Snowy's food, but it might have saved his life. This little fellow has Addison's disease. Along with shots, he was getting Prozac and Prednisone for years--until his liver enzymes went up and threatened his life. The vet wanted to give him another drug, but I don't take every drug doctors throw at me. I'm a naturalist who has always gone looking for what God made to help me with cancer, lupus, and Crohn's. I live alone, so Snowy and his brother are my heart and soul. First, I worked on reducing Snowy's Prozac as I gave him these chews. I had tried to get him off Prozac before, but nothing else had worked--his anxiety level was out the roof, and he licked & chewed constantly because he's allergic to everything! But on these chews, his anxiety worsened only at night in sleep-walking. I figured if he wasn't attacking his brother or people or chewing his feet off, I could live with sleep-walking; and soon the sleep-walking tapered off. His elevated liver enzymes caused by the Prozac went down. His licking was a little better also. Then I had to start reducing the Prednisone. At that point, I had to add a hemp chew, but even though he licks a little more without the extra prednisone, I have not had to increase the Prednisone the way I had to before any time I tried to reduce it. We will soon have another blood test to see if reducing the Prednisone will go the rest of the way toward saving my baby's life. So far, his vet has been amazed at this product and has not mentioned putting Snowy on any other drugs. Recently, I bought another brand while PetHonesty's product was not available, but as soon as it became available again, I ordered it because I KNOW it works, not just for allergies, but also for anxiety, aggression, and skin problems. I give it to his brother now for sinus problems, and so far, much better. They are ten years' old now and both have arthritis as well--both have one leg that hurts and causes limping, and I've noticed that this product helps with that as well. I use turmeric for my lupus arthritis, which was one reason I trusted this product to help in some way. I had no idea it would be my Snowy's savior. Thank God for these natural ingredients, and thank God for this company.

This product is amazing. My dog would scratch her ears till they bleed n lick n chew her feet also. From day one of giving her this allergy chew. I saw a big difference in the scratching n chewing. I have recommended this product.

we have used the peanut butter flavored formula before and it worked wonders for my dog's allergies, thinning hair and hot spots. he hates the taste though. that's fine, as long as it worked. well, when i saw there was a chicken flavor i was very interested, thinking it would get him more excited to take his meds everyday. happens the chicken flavor is extra strength, which, in my mind, only made it better. come to find, this seems to be making him itch even more! i'm really not sure what's going on. i have a small dog who doesn't regularly take these, but occasionally she gets one to maintain gut health, and even *she* has started to itch after we started this new formula. there is something not quite right here. i love this brand, and like i said, the peanut butter one has been a godsend for helping his allergies, but this chicken flavor is creating symptoms almost worse than the ones we want to cure. my dad said maybe it's just working and his body is shedding parasites (which i didn't think this would affect parasites if he had any) so we're gonna keep at it until at least one entire month has passed. this is currently in week two, with a line of thinning hair down his spine, thin hair on his paws and legs and everyday itching. the spine being particularly frustrating because he can't reach himself there. i noticed some small welts on the skin there too, can't tell if it's him chewing or something else. make of this what you will. when i tried to return these in the first week when i noticed him breaking out, maybe on the third day of using them, to my surprise, this company does not offer returns or refunds. seems almost criminal honestly. i tried every which way to return these, to no avail. either amazon or the sellers created an error message on the last step. so... here we are. willing to wait it out, but none too pleased about a lot of this. the taste isn't any better, the formula may not be working and it's almost ten dollars more than the regular version. if after a month he hasn't improved, best believe this is the first place i'll go to share. UPDATE 2.22.26 - i can't continue to give these to him. his poor spine is covered in welts, he's losing his hair and still itching. this is crazy. my mother mentioned he could be allergic to "chicken" flavoring, as her small dog is very allergic to chicken flavored things, with the same resulting symptoms. so, it may not be the formula specifically, maybe just the added natual flavor, but it doesn't matter because it's wreaking havoc on his system. lesson learned. will never buy this again, and certainly will not look to this company for accountability as they do not even offer returns or refunds for their failed product. a shame.

I would have to give this a 5 star rating...it's the best a total game changer for my dog. My dog loves the chewies I give her 3 a day they have made her life so much better...noticed a big difference in about two weeks her itching and scratching was completely gone...her legs still have a bit of redness...she is a completely different dog the way she feels more alive. I am going on the second jar soon...I used other brands but this is the best for seasonal allergies. So glad to fiinally find this product. Thank You Amazon Lynn
