if i tell google home to stream to chromecast will this autoswitch? if i press firestick remote will this auto switch?

Technically with most of these switches they sense a device being powered and then make that switch location the active one. So if Google powers up chrome cast and that causes the switch to recognize that...then maybe...but I doubt it. I don’t recommend this product. It failed on me in less than a year and the manufacturer did not respond to ANY of their warranty contact methods. I have replaced it with the Kinivio switch which has been much better. Also, these switches all have trouble with “always on” devices like game systems and potentially the chromecast. This may require manual switching but the Kinivio has a nice little remote and the ability for you to turn off the auto-switching and select your desired output on the box or via the remote.
