Amer Girl Grace Mini Doll & Book

I just recently learned that American Girl had mini doll versions of the 18 inch dolls. This is my very first American Girl doll and she is cute. I just had to get this doll, she looks so much like my big sister when she was little!Grace is a pretty little 6.5 almost 7 inch doll. Grace has movable arms, legs and her head can turn from side to side. she has soft brown hair with a side braid. Her shirt and skirt is sewn together, under her skirt she has light pink underwear. Grace also has cute little gray boots with bows on the side. All the doll clothes can come off, but is not easy to put back on once off! Grace would be great for a displaying, she can stand on her own. I gave a four star because Grace came with a tiny American Girl Grace book that you would need a magnifying glass to read! The book looks like it was made for the 18 inch doll to read.

I have read so many negative reviews about the size of the book that is included with the mini dolls. The book is meant for the doll, for pretend play as if the doll is reading it. The doll is mini, therefore, the book will be too. I don't know why that's hard to understand. Anyway, I love these dolls. They are very detailed and affordable. I have purchased many and am highly satisfied. I think any little girl would love these.

My daughter loves these little versions of the American Girl dolls. Amazon's price is very affordable especially when coupons are available. The cost to purchase the doll on Amazon is half (sometimes less) than directly from AG. The dolls are incredibly well made and they come with accessories such as hair barrettes and shoes. Each doll comes with a small version of the book telling her story. My daughter uses the miniature books to pretend her regular sized dolls are reading or at school. We love the AG brand and these dolls make great gifts or rewards.

I got the mini to go with the regular size doll for my granddaughters 8th birthday. She was ecstatic. She said "This cant be real" This cant be happening! SHe got the American Girl Bakery too.Im a good grandma. These are cute little dolls, with great bendable bodies and a wide selcetion of great if not slightly pricey accessories. But hey, granddaughters can ahve anything they want, right?

We are so happy to have finally added mini Grace to our collection. She is an all plastic doll with adorable clothes. The details on this doll are amazing. Her hair is braided just like the larger Grace. The bow on the dress and the shoes are just too cute and very well made. We love to use the minis as dolls for the 18 inch dolls.

Teeny Tiny doll but it was only $20.00 for an 'American Girl Doll'. Yes like other reviews state the book is not really for reading. For a doll collector this is good. My elementary child ignores her now and plays with the bigger 'American Girl' doll but maybe I will keep it? It is a quality doll though very cute.

I miss read the title and assumed I was getting a full size book and a mini doll. My daughter was happy with the gift however I went out and bought the full size book to match. A bit of a disappointment but my daughter was happy. Beware the doll and book are both mini!

So cute, and was the "mini-me" to my Granddaughter's 18" Grace American Doll. She loved playing withthem together. Also she is easier to take about due to her smaller stature. Overwhelming very populargift this Christmas and a big hit with both Granddaughters!!!
