Seems to very good quality and value, potent, I can tell it is rich in andrographolides, the active anti-inflamm, immune support compounds because I know what these actives taste like from having bought standardized products over many years. Only a small amount is needed, the lot I got was very potent, very bitter (not called the King of bitters in India by mistake!). My 500 g is lasting forever, I don't use it all the time. It is considered a cold (cooling herb), so too much or for too long can have a detrimental effect. Still, it is an excellent antimicrobial and the other features mentioned when needed. it could be cycled with other herbs for similar purposes. Turmeric and ginger are more warming herbs so it might balance well with them.

This andrographis extract powder is very potent and crazy bitter! Please be warned: a small taste on the tip of your tongue will make you reach for any drink in sight. But that's a good thing and it's not unusual at all! I see Bulk Supplements' customers give 1 star reviews for bitter herbal extracts because they "don't taste good." Come on, now! Not everything we ingest can be sugar-coated! I recommend encapsulating this powder in gel capsules. It will be the easiest way for you to consume it. Otherwise, the herb itself is often taken as a tincture, in alcohol. Andrographis is a cold and very bitter herb that's been used for centuries in traditional medicine for a broad scope of health benefits. This is one herb you really should educate yourself on. For example, it should only be taken two weeks at a time, and even when taken as instructed you might find yourself feeling cold a lot. Not *having* a cold, but needing a light sweater. I first tried tablet form but they taste bad so I switched to the powder, which is more of a hassle but you can't taste it encapsulated and it's cheaper. My trust in andrographis is reinforced every time I feel like I'm coming down with something. Recently I thought I might have strep throat, it hurt so bad. I decide to try andrographis first. After one morning and one evening dose, I woke up the next morning with barely any soreness in my throat, and gone completely by afternoon. Now that we have heavy smoke from the Dixie fire, I'm starting a two week round of andrographis to protect my system.

I haven't had a chance to put this into pills yet. I tasted a little on my finger and it didn't seem that bad so sprinkled some on some food. Don't do that! It tasted bad and very bitter. I think this will work for glucose control once I get it into pills. I will update this review.

Bitter in taste but if you mix with honey it is so much better to take!

This powder taste strong and nasty in nasty 🙈😄😄 no way im adding it to my drink lol

I’m sure this is how it should be but this tastes horrible. I couldn’t deal with the taste. It is a dry, bitter nasty taste and it mixes poorly with water. It also is rather irritating to my stomach. Be warned, you will probably toss it away like me.
