I gave it 3 stars for being unique and you can use it easy in the shower, they should be safe as it splashes backwards the liquid, I pushed the nozzle as far as It would allow in my ear and I held the top part of my ear up to straighten the passageway spray for 1 second liquid will squirt out so I would recommend using it in the shower.
